英文简介
Wu Qiong , born in 1986, is a doctoral supervisor. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Shandong University in 2008 and received his doctor's degree from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013. Since July 2013, he has been serving as a faculty member at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Technology, where his research focuses on rare‑earth permanent magnetic materials and green recycling of rare earth strategic resources. Concurrently, he holds the position of Secretary‑General of the Regeneration Branch of the Chinese Society of Rare Earths and is an expert on secondment to the Industrial Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In 2014, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Texas at Arlington, USA. He is the Chief Scientist of a National Key Research and Development Program and has led three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). In total, he has presided over or participated in more than ten national and ministerial‑level scientific projects, including NSFC grants and key national R&D initiatives. He has published over 40 SCI‑indexed papers and holds three authorized invention patents as the first rights holder. Among his publications are more than 10 high‑impact papers in top‑quartile (Q1) journals, including Journal of the American Chemical Society, Acta Materialia, Nano Letters, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, ACS Nano, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, and Nanoscale.Several of his former graduate students have been awarded university‑level Outstanding Graduate Thesis honors.
